Ошибка: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -l<библиотека>

Смотрим что и где ищет ld:

# ld -l<библиотека> --verbose

Потом просто подсовываем ему то, что нужно.

Please remember to reinstall this port after kernel source update. Using AoE
devices on boot is a little tricky because the network must be up before the
system can access an AoE device. The current rc boot method for automounting
filesystems will not work with AoE devices; vinum and mount -a are both run
before bringing up the network.

In order to use AoE devices on boot a few rc.conf variables have been defined
that permit the boot sсript (/etc/rc.d/aoe) to initialize systems using AoE
devices after the network is up. They are as follows:

aoe_enable Set to "Yes" to enable the aoe startup sсript.
aoe_iflist A space separated string of interfaces valid for AoE.
aoe_wc Set to "1" to enable write cache on AoE device.
aoe_mounts A space seperated string of AoE device nodes to be mounted.
(An entry for each needs to be in /etc/fstab as well with the
"noauto" option.)

For example, the following added to /etc/rc.conf:

aoe_enable="Yes"
aoe_iflist="em0 em1"
aoe_wc="1"
aoe_mounts="/dev/aoed0s1a /dev/aoed1s1a"

and the following added to /etc/fstab:

# Device Mountpoint FStype Options Dump Pass#
/dev/aoed0s1a /mnt/a ufs rw,noauto 0 0
/dev/aoed1s1a /mnt/b ufs rw,noauto 0 0

will automatically start the AoE driver and mount the /mnt/a and /mnt/b
"blades". See aoe(4) and www.coraid.com/support/freebsd/usingaoe.html
for more information.

Samba

NOTE: This port has been compiled with a default pwcheck_method of
auxprop. If you want to authenticate your user by /etc/passwd,
PAM or LDAP, install ports/security/cyrus-sasl2-saslauthd and
set sasl_pwcheck_method to saslauthd after installing the
Cyrus-IMAPd 2.X port. You should also check the
/usr/local/lib/sasl2/*.conf files for the correct
pwcheck_method.
If you want to use GSSAPI mechanism, install
ports/security/cyrus-sasl2-gssapi.
If you want to use LDAP auxprop plugin, install
ports/security/cyrus-sasl2-ldapdb.

* Your configuration is: /usr/local/etc/smb4.conf

* All the relevant databases are under: /var/db/samba4

* All the logs are under: /var/log/samba4

* Provisioning sсript is: /usr/local/bin/samba-tool

You will need to specify location of the 'nsupdate' command in the
smb4.conf file:

nsupdate command = /usr/local/bin/samba-nsupdate -g

Проставление mime типов на примере inode/directory

inode/directory - файловый менеджер по умолчанию.
Я использую dolphin, для того что бы fluxbox заставить использовать его по умолчанию, мне нужно настроить mime тип

% cp /usr/share/applications/kde4/dolphin.desktop ~/.local/share/applications
% xdg-mime default dolphin.desktop inode/directory

Теперь тот же dropbox будет открывать папки в указанном файловом менеджере, а не в браузере.

Mac OS X: spotlight reindex

From the Apple (

menu, choose System Preferences.
Click Spotlight.
Click the Privacy tab.
Drag a folder or an entire volume (your hard drive) to the list.
If prompted for confirmation, click OK.
Remove the item or volume you just added to the list by clicking it and then clicking the minus ("-") button.
Close Spotlight preferences.
